Arriving in St. Thomas airport, you take a taxi ride across the island to Red Hook, the east end of St. Thomas. The Red Hook ferry leaves on the hour and takes about 20 minutes. The Downtown ferry departs every 2 hours and is about 45 minutes in travel time. The downtown ferry is the more picturesque way of getting to St. John and we highly recommend this way.

First boats leave Red Hook at 6:30 & 7:30 AM
After that boats leave every hour on the hour both ways:
Last boat leaves Cruz Bay at 11:00 PM
Last boat leaves Red Hook at midnight
