A check or money order in the amount of 50% of the total rental fee is required upon booking your reservation. The balance is due 2 months prior to your arrival date.
Should you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, there will be a 20% cancellation fee charged. Your rental deposit may be refunded up to 2 months prior to your arrival date, subject to the cancellation fee. If you need to cancel within 2 months of your stay, your payment will be refundable, less the cancellation fee, only if we are able to re-rent the cottage during your rental period. We do everything we can to help fill dates that must be cancelled. However, we suggest you purchase trip insurance to mitigate any cancellation if sickness, hurricane, airline failure, or any other unforeseen events change your plans.
Gecko House is a privately owned home. As a guest at Gecko House you agree
that we, the owners, will not be responsible for an unlikely event such as
accident, injury or the loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
Gecko House is a not intended for parties or groups larger than those
renting the house. We ask that you respect our home as if it is your own.
